Furniture Trade Shows

Robert and Kate recently travelled down to the Furniture Shows in Birmingham, an annual fixture and one of the highlights of the buying calendar.

On the Saturday they were able to see exclusive collections at the AIS (Associated Independent Stores) showrooms including a couple of beautiful new Italian leather sofas and chairs.

Sunday and it was over to the main N.E.C show where it was evident colour was making a come back. Lush greens and burnt oranges combined with creams and beiges to offer a fresh alternative to classic silvers and greys. New fabrics for upholstery included some interesting textures with a velvety handle as well as beautiful new plaid effect prints.

Lots of new exciting oak too including a showstopper of a dining table paired with an upholstered high back bench seat.
